Oskar, I do not know the loco's history. If I see the crews when I go back for more pictures, I will ask them about it.

  • HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:D][:D][8D][8D][:)][:)] I may get to go ralfaning on sunday!!! YAY!!!!!

    See ya later...
  • Chris, our lucky to get to go railfanning. It's supposed to be cloudy and rainy around here this weekend or I would be heading up the go railfanning and to head to a train show in LaCrosse tomorrow.

Another average day. Just a little homework for the weekend, but I hope to make some good headway on the module again. This weekend I plan on concentrating on structures, and getting at least one totally scratchbuilt(the yard office) and one partially built(the turntable).

I got my second Quarter grades as well as my semester grades today and I'm really happy again. They are exactly what I was expecting, and that makes me quite happy. It also puts me in a modeling mood. So, off I go.......

    See ya around,
    Noah
  • Hey guys
Today was OK, really did not do anything. Science was a little hard. I will be getting more pictures tomorrow, my dad and I are going over to the station. So, yes I will be going railfanning tomorrow.

  • Hey COLIN!!! No need for thanks...I hope things begin to look up... COOL sighting by the way! I have never seen a C307 in person I dont think, and you said that that shortline has a steamer? Does it run! Also, cool pics!

Noah- I should be getting my grades this weekend- I think they will be good! And, how about some pics of you awesome module ? I really lied the last one, and would love to see the progress.

Well, for me, this weekend, I will be working on my latest project: a BN C30-7, an older atlas model. I have aplied the grabs, painted them, and will be airbrushing a beter coat of cascade green on the handrails. I will also be adding a plow, trainlines, MU cables, a firecracker antenna and maybe other stuff....pics to come...

well....I should get back to my homerwork...
  • Chris, the 2-8-0 does run, and they do have a weekend set aside for railfan photography. They have classic run by's, and I will be attending as soon as the next one is scheduled. I hope there is snow on the ground, because the photos would look even better with a little something extra.

  • i operated an ho scale NS Dash 8, pulling a BN i think SD60? if there is such a thing..? lol Im still learnin, pulling a line of mixed freight! It was fun I did pickups and drop offs at all 4 yards on the layout... It was a ball!! I had a very good time.. But school and racing will be taking my life back over here shortly,... School already has lol..
    C-ya guys,
  • RACEING My family dragraces, 70 buick GS.....10 second 1/4 miles .... not bad for a 35 yr. old car.
Anywhay max hopefully it's sunney tomarrow.................................................
DOCK_661 there are BN sd60's but they have a more canadian three whinndow style safty cab. Also tey arre painted (as far as i know ) in a light caskade green and cream, not the executive sceam like the sd70's.
    ?Habla usted espanol?
Yo tengo mucho tiera, no me gusta estudiar por espanol!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nssr, Yo Hablo espanol. Yo tengo la Clase de espanol en mi escuela. Yo tambien no me gusta estudio por espanol, pero la clase es facil. Es mi primero año, y es muy bueno y divertido.

Chris, I'll have to do another photo shoot at the end of the weekend so I can show you and other my progress on the module. It's actually starting to look like a layout more now than a plywood central....

Speaking of the module, I did some more work on the yard office last night. I'm scratchbuilding the door for the office because I want a special kind, and I haven't been able to find a detail part for it anywhere.

Any where, I better get going. I'm heading off to lunch and to go get some supplies for the model railroad from Wally-World.

  • I saw some trains earlier today and I saw 7087's brother 7088 which is one of the last C30-7's in number order.CSX SD50 ex CR with marker lights on,a NS transfer with a CR GP38-2 leading LHF!!,a CSX SD70ACe I don't see them as much as the ES44DC's,a studdering engineer or conductor (whoever gets the blocks and repeats them on CSX.It might be cool to hear one but its not funny), and 4617 still here and doing MOW work his brother 4618 came here also.

  • Well, going railfanning tomorrow at Berea from morning to night! It has to be a good 50 degrees here, believe it or not. And tomorrow is supposed to be BETTER! I'll try to get as many pics as I can, but don't count on too, too many. I would've had more shots today from the Medina Siding, but nothing parks there until noon and we were there at 10:30. My parents didn't want to wait. But on our way to Berea tomorrow, we're stopping there, so be expecting pics from there.

Today I went to the Akron Barberton Cluster Railway's (ABCR) headquarters and got 8 pics. One of which being a shot of some nasty diamonds. If you want to check those pics out, they're on my unicapital site below. Got some more rolling stock pics as well and the mate to ABCR 1502 which we saw earlier this month.

Aw, what the heck. Here are links to the pics from today. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, and this may sound like an excuse, but the one's with the bad angles (I'm figuring you know which ones I mean, the cab shot ones) were taken by my father.
