  • I have nothing really to say we had a writing test for the whole 8th grade before that a mock test.So overall I have been writing my fingers off in school can't wait until the end of tommow.Today I had to write a 5 paragraph essay on what I wanted to do when I grow up I did engineer.On the other half my freind ''Tidwell'' named ALL the funny things he wanted to be which I got a good laugh at a couple of things were
    the person that puts the red dot on the indians head there were alot more but that was the laugh of the day.

  • Chris, I think everybody at one time or another has been wherer you are. You know you can imporve your pictures but your not sure how. Getting creative is hard. What I did was go to my local Borader's Booksellers and looked at what the pros where doing (Jim Boyd, Schmollinger are my personal favorite. Schmollinger post on RP.net) and got some ideas from them.
    I do have one sugguestion, when I came to college I had to give my car and was once again forced to stay in one place to take shots of trains. You would be surpirsed what simply zooming out or walking 100 feet up the train will do.
    Some examples;
    these two shots where talken with a five minute walk of each other;

    these three shots where taken with 10 feet of each other, just at differnet focal lengths and have the same PRR signal in them;

  • Chris and Matt,

    What's the story about my being a moderator on the Western Rail forum?
  • True enough, you don't zoom in alot but everyone of your RP.net shots are 3/4 wedge shots, which has the same effect. As for the highschool foamers, relax guys, I guess had assumed something that wasn't correct, oops....
  • Wait, im confused. Are you yelling at me, Alec? O wait, maybe not......lol
