I am trying to find a model/toy trains that is electrical or battery operated that goes around Xmas trees but is elevated half way up the tree.

What a greet chance to build that extremly elevated trestle work you have been talking about or some very long threaded rod from the ceiling and any battery or electic train will work. It only takes money and time. The chance of an artifical or natural tree providing the stability for anything but the very lightest train seem slim.[2c]

I have never seen anything like that and you will probably have to make something. It shouldn't be too hard to weld up the same idea as a Christmas tree stand with four long bolts that press against the trunk at the elevation you want and a ring on which to lay a track. Standard Ho or N could probably be made to work.
