I have a new Polar Express train to put around the tree and noticed smoke coming from the front wheels on the left side. The smoke stack unit is working fine. Should I be concerned with the excess smoke or is this an added feature of a steam engine?

You should post this on both the model railroader forums and the classic toy trains forums (if it is a lionelle or something like that)

I had the same thing on my engine. I never found out what it was. Put it in the CTT froum and I know the guys up there will help you. That is where I mainly hang out, some come on over
