Man, now I get to tell my parents off for not letting me see the WC last year....a small victory, but it is overshadowed by the defeat of SD45s.....I saw one a few weeks ago, grabbed my camera, rushed down the tracks past employees and No Trespassing signs, and......I was out of film. And by the time I got back to the car, the light was gone so much that I couldn't take a picture under 1/15th of a second.

Dissappointing! Well, at least I caught a few on film! And also, at least the MRL SD45s are still around here on NS!!! Along with Guilford GP60Ms!!!

CSX has a trackage agreement out here with CP and we get some good CP action, including mostly grain trains! But occasionally auto trains! Once a Soo Line SD60 visited us trailing a CEFX Yellowjacket (ex- UP) SD40M-2!!!!

CN appears mostly when ever NS appears on CSX. Don't know why, but it seems that's just how it works. UP is everywhere, and BNSF.

Locals and Special Moves also show up on NS alot due to being near the "Rockport Yard." And one of the specials w/ a CR caboose had a SOO 'Old piant scheme or snowhite scheme' SD40-2!!!

Anyways, I'm not going railfanning this weekend but did attend a lousy train show today.

Guilford has GP60Ms? And how is it a lousy train show? I didn't know there was such a thing.

The train show was lousy because it had nothing real good. It had one table that I could find stuff I wanted at. It was only one room aswell! A one room, one good table train show really isn't that great. The thing about this show is that it was almost all O. And I like HO. That must've been the case!

Yes, Guilford does own GP60Ms. Check RRPicturearchives.net for Guilford # 501 which passes through on NS occasionally.

Guilford doesnt have GP60M's, Those are ex CN GP40-2LW's.

My monthly newsletter must be wrong then---LOL!! It called those GP60Ms. It specifically listed Guilford 501 as a GP60M!! Well, guess it's wrong.

Anyways, sorry to ask, but has anyone here seen a CSX locomotive and it had a 'Spirit' logo on the side?? Just curious.

There's a 200mm shot that I took on vacation this year, I don't like this lens much, what do you think of the colouration on these 2 shots?
