Railroads already own the land that they lay track on. Most railroad property goes at least 75 feet from each side of the tracks, at least thats how it is here in MN.

Well, it is possibly different here in Ohio, because you can get as close as you want to a very active and highspeed CSX Line without getting yelled at. Berea, Ohio is where at.

Here in MN you go right up to the mains too, but you have to watch out for RR police.

No police drive by us and wave to us. They don't even say nothing and highrailers and crew change vehicles come by all the time nd beep wave etc. So maybe the law here is different.

Dude, we can do what we want. Alec, I've tried to be nice to you and respect you, but no matter how hard I try, you still don't give me that respect back.

I read that page real fast and didn't get what he mean't until later. Being in a conversation with my pal, Chris, I decided just to let it go and not delete that post.

Alstom, I have to agree with Alec. Please stop flooding the pages with worthless stuff, it gets old really fast. For people like me who have dial up internet it becomes very hard to keep up with all of these new pages. So for the general interest of the whole group please stop! Alec has a great point, get AIM! It is much faster and easier to view then these forums.

I admit, I agree with that. But he doesn't need to keep harassing me about everything. I briefly look over the pages and skim throguh real quick to see what I missed, barely reading any of the posts, and didn't quite understand what TPatrick mean't at first. And after awhile I re-read TPatrick's post and I figured out I had made a mistake. But because I had Chris waiting in a conversation, I talked to him, and forgot all about deleting my posts. And then Alec comes in and assumes stuff. Calls me stupid, says 'You're in the 8th grade' ,like I shouldn't be. You know, hang on I'll send you an email or something.

No, Chris was too. Im just say, a lot of those posts were really worthless. Like here, AC6000CW was asking about a camera, you didnt know, but you posted anyway. Douglas asked about how much it takes for track to be layed. You and many other people had no idea , but still posted. Maybe if you used the posts more wisely you could talk to everyone in one post, instead of using different posts for 3 sentences. Richard, im not picking on you, but you and chris should try to get some instant messanger, because this topic has gone down the tube. And remember when you were called a star chaser? You and Chris were TRYING to get stars tonight. Seriously , you and chris, this isnt cool. Your going to gain that reputation back real soon [xx(] So just think from now on, dont get mad at me because i have a point. I wouldnt adress these issues if they werent there.

The only reason I answer those questions Alec is becuase I want them to know that I'm trying to figure out an think how much it costs to lay rail or what type of camera to use. They're my friends and I agree with you about getting IM, but the server we have 'Road Runner' doesn't come equipped with any form of IM.

You know something else Alec, I stayed off of this forum for two months to get my point average down because you were showing everyone how high it was. I honestly don't care how high it gets but that's why I left for 2 months.
