  • Well I too saw a pair of those 4400 hp locos headed south on a manifest/coal train through Sharon, PA on Sunday. It wasn't too bad although it could've been a better siting than just two CSXs'. You can view the shots of it I got on the link in my sig.

  • hey, you didn't ask the question!
It was a CP loco, 8600 series, headed west just east of mile 7.

  • The AC4400CWs I saw were CSX #151 and #400 or 460. At least 92% of the train was BLE coal hoppers which don't impress me so mine too was dirt rare, but still worth seeing on a non-railfanning weekend[V].

  • Yeah, I was still happy to see it. Anyone else do some railfanning on the weekend?

  • Hi everybody!
This forum is new to me. It seems great. Well anyways, my name is Bennett, I live in Vermont (that little place where nothing happens). My favore railroad is CN. My favoreite engine...hmm...I guess any wide-nosed EMD. Plus the GE Dash 8. I railfan around Island Pond, Vermont. If railfanning is what you want to call it. Island Pond gets about maybe 4 trains daily. I don't know because I have never stayed down there for a whole day. I live in a town with know trains, whatsoever! So I hed down to I-P on occasion. Well that's a lot of imformation I just gave you. Hope nobody on here is a hacker or stalker or something...[:D]
