I'm not a CP fan but I have a section of former SCL branch line you can direct one of those tanks to if they have gasoline in them.

Had to go with Eric. That consist came thru town and by the time I realized what they were, I only got a shot with throwaway. Trust me Erics pic was much better. Wish I had the time to chase like you guys! Willy

I really liked both pictures, btu I went with Mike. Its one of the few modern-day trains other than commuters that I have seen with only one power unit

I had to go with Mike's as it showed more of the train. It's very unusual to see a photo showing the whole train, who cares if the lighting was bad and the CP unit didn't show it's colours right. Most people could tell it was a CP train, the most important thing was showing the consist, and I feel he did it very well.

I come from the same region as aussiecxs and find it dificult to photo a whole train of coal wagons so I have to go for Mike's pic. Top shot.

Each of the photos are technically good considering both engine cab-fronts are in shadow.
Although I like trains snaking thru sidings as in Eric's, I voted for Mikes 'whole unit train in the photo' because it's so unusual to actually see that.
Happy Railroading!
Mark

Maybe a Nikon with slide film would help?
