What in the world?

  • Well, I have no clue as to how to describe these so maybe you can help.

    I have heard them described as "droids." I have heard that they are slugs. But, what are they?

  • The thread indicates that they are basically de-engined and de-motored shells set up as remote control receivers in yard service for whatever is MU'ed to them. UP also has a small fleet of them in the UPY 100 series. They are painted solid gray with red lettering.
    The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
