Have CSX and Ge had a falling out?
GE was the major supplier of power for CSX for a number of years, and the last orders have gone to EMD.
Was it the C-60's or a better deal?
Any info would be appreciated.
Jimmy

How about the GEVO's?

The only new orders for CSX ARE from GE. The EMD's are just leased demostrators. I have heard reports that the CSX SD70ACe's are spending a lot of downtime in the shop. Not a good sign for the future of EMD.

The CSX SD70ACe's can't be too bad, because the units borrowed for helper service in Montana convinced MRL to make their first new-locomotive purchase: SD70ACe's!
