Interesting you mention that in your joke, since BNSF now officially stands for BNSF instead of "Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway" (no one could remember if it had an "and" so they made it intials, just like CSX!) See Jan 25's News Wire: http://www.trains.com/Content/Dynamic/Articles/000/000/005/692dndks.asp
  • this was a biased vote, i admit. i live just 2 miles from a nflk sthn yard and see
them all the time. also i still am not a fancier of all black power, i don't relish
ill central either. and i am a longtime lover of the santa fe [pre-bnsf] livery.

  • Hey Guys! both shots were great as usual ! [^] I had to go with Eric's shot though, this train rushing at you, at high speed, cloud of snow kicked up behind, through a cut of trees, and also framed by section occupation lights just made it a winner for me this time!!! If cold conditions cause troubles in" Wisconsin Country " TRY IT IN NORTHERN CANADA ! (we've really got some hardy railfans up here !!!)[8D][(-D]
  • Erik's. For one thing, he snubbed the "wedgy." And splitting the signals is classic.
