I downloaded a copy of Erik's BNSF pairing, did some levels adjustment with Photoshop, and brought out a lot of the detail "hidden" in the original photo. Granted, it's still not an O. Winston Link pic, it's better now. If your pix have similar problems, don't be afraid to improve them.

I like Eric's night shot! It's hard to get it right but with the new digital camera format, you can see right away if you have to change settings.Old style film cameras have a distinct disadvantage to digital in that respect. Night shots always have that mysterious glow to them. Besides we all like trains don't we? LENNY

I voted for Mike's Shot, but only because I'm a huge SF fan. Both shots were great, but it's like comparing apples to oranges. Night vs. day? How do you pick when both shots were equally good in their own catagory. As far as I'm concerned, you both get the vote this week.

Mike's train meet is very nice. but I think the lighting effect of Erik's makes his more special and a better overall picture.

Erik's pic just caught my eye. Had to stop & look at photo closer. Usually just browse both pics without voting or comment. This time did both.
