Yes I was wondering what the passenger car color was on the B&O railroad in the 1930's.
I know that the freight color was Bando Blue but was wondering if the passenger car color was the same.
I am going to start painting a few Heavyweight HO scale cars and would like to know the exact color scheme.
I just can't seem to get any info online about this.
Thanks again for any help
Welcome.
Good chance you posted in the wrong forum. http://cs.trains.com/trc/f/1/t/243617.aspx
You really need the Model Railroader, General Discussion forum. Some new people miss this.

Until the advent of the 'Streamlined' Capitol Limited in 1937, the standard color for most B&O passenger equipment was 'Pullman Green'. An exception to this would have been the Streamlining of the Royal Blue with lightweight equipment in 1935 which I believe was painted all Blue with either silver or gold lettering. That train set was then shipped to the B&O subsidiary, The Alton and became the Ann Rutledge in the St. Louis-Chicago trade. The Royal Blue was reequipped with Streamstyled heavyweight equipment that was painted in the Blue, Gray and Gold scheme that had been applied to the Capitol Limited and which then became the standard for all B&O passenger equipment.
