  • Your question is rather vague, but I gather that you have a model train that is lettered for Hudson & Pacific. If this is the case, your train was made by the Japanese company Sakai. Sakai produced model trains from the 1930's-1960's. Many of their trains were lettered for the Hudson & Pacific railroad. The name Hudson & Pacific is entirely made up and no such railroad ever existed in real life. Sakai produced trains in HO and O gauge. If the tracks have three rails and are 1.25 inches wide, the train is O gauge. If the track has two rails and is 0.75 inches wide, the train is HO gauge. Sakai trains are generally quite valualbe and are in high demand from collectors.
