PRR Steam

  • I would like to know why there is no PRR steam in N scale.  We have Challengers, Bigboys, Y3's, EM 1's as well as USRA types and C&O 2-6-6-2's but no K4's, L1's, M1's or H10's.   Why?  I would like for the MR reporters, at the next opportunity, to ask the manufacturers the question as to why no PRR steam?  PRR diesels seem to sell very well as does PRR rolling stock.  So why no PRR steam?

  • We don't have an L1 or any H class in HO either. bli is coming out with an H 10 but PRR modelers have been wanting several for about 15 years. I know several people who want between 5 & 10.
  • Penn Line made an excellent K4 kit, and mine should still be at MIT's Tech Model Railroad.   Aren't they still in business?   (HO)

  • Penn Line has been gone for close to 50 years. Bowser bought the dies and stopped about two yrs ago due to no interest in kits any more. There are several excellent k4s available as well as other PRR engines but no L1s or any H class inHO.
