is this cam down again all i get is a black screen saying buffering thanks rambo1..
the Trains dot com connection seems to be down, but the other two methods of getting to the cam work just fine.

There is a HUGE 87 page thread (1304 posts) of the same name as this one in the Trains magazine forum (not the same forum where we are right now) where we have discussed and cussed the Roanoke web cam for several years (since 2009!) as it has been updated and improved.
If you go read the thread you will find lots of comments about other things that are in the scene. Screen captures of interesting train cars (and other things) and long discussions of why you see so many Coca-Cola trucks on the street! Be mindful that a lot of the early discussion was about the cam not working too well and that most of that has all been fixed and improved.
An lot of good info in the thread, but also a lot of "I can't get to the cam", "Neither can I", "it is working now", "Me too". stuff. Lots to wade through, but lots of good info if you have questions about the cam, or Roanoke, or what you are seeing, or what other cams are available to watch.
