ANy tips on places to eat that tie in railfanning?

Two of my favorite places are the Dansbury Depot in East Stroudsburg, PA and the Depot in Cold Spring, NY.

We are blessed with several places in NE Ohio to eat and railfan at the same time.

One is the Station restaurant in Berea, Ohio. It is a converted NYC station.




They also have a dinning car for parties.


Another place is the Willoughby Brewing Co. in downtown Willoughby, Ohio. This is a converted train car repair shop from the old CP & E interurban rr.



Also in Mentor, Ohio (about 5 miles east of Willoughby) is a newly opened restaurant, which was a Nickel Plate train station (I think). Sorry no pic of it yet.

The two train stations sits right on the CSX main line and you can also see the NS mainline tracks also.

Jack London Square in Oakland has several restuarants where the UP main runs down the street, including, I think, the former WP station. The former WP Oroville station has a restuarant. Best of all, take a ride, and head for the diner!
