My favorite is the whistle on D&RGW 487 at the C&TS. That whistle is louder alone than three diesel engines making as much noise as they can!

A little story:
I was standing next to the crossing as 487 came by. Believe it or not, there's a point where a sound can't get any louder, I found out. It was the only time I've been worried about my hearing! WOW!
