I am looking for 1952 passenger fares on the following routes:
Portland OR to Chicago IL:
NP's "North Coast Limited", Great Northern's "Western Star" and "Empire Builder", and UP's "City of Portland."
Chicago IL to Atlanta GA: Chicago & Eastern IL or Louisville & Nashville RR's "The Georgian" and "The Dixie Flagler."

Here are the fares and Pullman rates for Portland to Chicago and Chicago to Atlanta that were in effect in 1952. Note that no matter which route you traveled between Portland and Chicago (SP&S-NP-CB&Q, SP&S-GN-CB&Q, UP-CNW) the fares and sleeper charges were the same. Likewise, whether you used the Dixie Route (C&EI-L&N-NC&StL) or the NYC-SOU route, the fares were the same between Chicago and Atlanta.
OWC = one way coach; RTC = roundtrip coach; OWF = one way first; RTF = roundtrip first
Portland-Chicago--OWC: $53.61; RTC: $82.00; OWF: $75.06; RTF: $115.00; Lower berth: $21.00; Upper berth: $16.00; Roomette: $29.40; One person in bedroom: $39.90; Two in bedroom: $46.15; One in compartment: $42.30; Two in compartment: $59.15; One in drawingroom: $62.95; Two or more in drawingroom: $79.80.
Chicago-Atlanta--OWC: $19.97; RTC: $36.00; OWF: $27.68; RTF: $48.50; Lower berth: $8.30; Upper berth: $6.23; Roomette: $11.55; One person in bedroom: $15.75; Two in bedroom: $18.25; One in compartment: $18.65; Two in compartment: $23.25; One in drawingroom: $24.85; Two or more in drawingroom: $31.50.
15% federal tax was added to all fares.
These fares are from an NP timetable and L&N timetable from 1952.
