CSX well cars

    Has anybody seen any CSX Intermodal well cars. I looking for the ones that are marked for 53 foot containers and 48 foot containers.

    620325 is one 48 foot 5 unit well car I found.

    I have seen around 10 CSX well cars. (I collect rail car numbers).

    Could you tell me what is the number series or which ones you have for so far. Im curious to see how many they have. Till recently, I was only sure they had the Twinstack Sealand units ex NYSW and the few actuall CSX Intermodal ones. I also collect numbers but I rarely get to go into the U.S so seeing CSX intermodal equipment is as rare as a diamond in Ontario.

    I didnt check. Sorry. If you go to http://shipcsx.com/ec.shipcsxpublic/com.csx.shipcsx.mainpage.CSXMainPage , then click on Railcar Specs, and then Fleet Detail. That might help you out.

    I believe those are the Sealand ex NYSW reporting marks ones. They all say they that they can only support 40 foot containers on the bottom.

    If you guys don't already know, there is a yahoogroup devoted to intermodal. It's called modelintermodal. I'm sure a lot of those guys can provide you with number series and even photos. I highly reccomend checking the group out if you have not already.
