Canadian Pacific song

  • Smile Hello. Who sang the Canadian Pacific song.

Canadian Pacific. Through the valleys and the forests to the sunshine of her smile cross the plains in the old mountains. Canadian Pacific Take me to my baby's arm.

I like this country song. That's my favorite about the railroad company.

Let me know if you know it.

Good bye and see you soon.

  • Hmmm...doesn't ring a bell, I suspect it was a song that was popular only in Canada, eh?? I do have song "The Canadian" on an Eileen McGann CD, which also has the song "Another Train". I think the CD is called "Choices"??

An internet search did come up with references to a Hank Snow song...

  • If you look on YouTube, you can find a version from Hank Snow, which i think is the original one.

  • Gordon Lightfoot sang the "Canadian Pacific Trilogy." He also wrote and sang, "The Legend of the Edmund Fitzgerald."
  • Canadian Railroad Trilogy is a masterpiece, telling of how Canada was truly made a united Country, and saved from American intrusion.
