The Chicago Tribune has an article showing that only a handful of crossing are really of any concern for the entire route and an editorial in favor of the merger. That should make my mayor apoplectic. Looks like we will be calling a special town meeting to rant and rave and stir up citizens some more.

I honestly hope this deal doesn't go through. After seeing what CN has done to the DM&IR line up here in MN, I don't want to see yet another railroad suffer the same fate.
