Post Rank?

  • Can someone please explain what 'Post Rank' is in a member's profile? I looked in FAQs but couldn't find it there.

    Thanks

  • Oh, that is an easy one,   the lower the number the less likely you are to have a life. Smile [:)]

NO particular offense meant to anyone, I'm actually paraphrasing a response I got from a Mod here on  Trains.Com when I commented about the thousands of responses he had attributed to his ID.

    Best regards to all,

  • Hi Ted,

I've been here since 2003 and since the forum was reorganized I'm not certain.  I think it has to do with the number of posts you make within a timeperiod......but I could be wrong.

But don't worry about it as it's not a gauge as to your value.  I miss seeing your posts on the Gen Discussion MRR.  Enjoyed your photos and would like to see more.

BTW: Did have you had the opportunity to visit the Suncoast Model Railroader's Club in Largo?

  • It appears to be roughly related to your number of posts and is a power of 2 from 1 the most through 128 the least.  If you have a zero post rank you are basically unranked because you don't have enough for the 128 rank.

    Enjoy
