I perfer the SD70MAC. If not the new GE units.

This was a hard decision. I like them all about the same but I like some a little more than others.
1. SD40-2
2. GP40 (not listed)
3. SD70
4. GP38-2
5. SD70MAC
6. GP7
7. SD60
8. GP9
10. FP7

This is tough, but i'll list my fav from 1st to last.

Favorite GMD locomotives (Canadian General Motors Diesel/ EMD in US)

1.GMD GMD1 A1A-A1A (Canadian Model only on CNR/and the Former NAR)
2.GMD GP9 Long Hood config (Prairie Dog Central)
3.GMD SD90MAC II
4.GMD SD40-2F
5.GMD SW1200rs (Pup)[;)]

TMC (CNR Mixed train GMD1 1063 with combine coach)

(Remember always at Railway X-ing's, (Stop, Look and Listen!)

The SD60 Oakway lease units were the best that I love to run. Those units could really do some pulling.

You love what you grow up with, and in the 90s CP used exclusively SD40-2s (And the occasional GP38-2) on their trains around here, so there you go. I love them.
