Final scene for a while - C&O Mallet pulling coal train onto truss bridge

This is my last truss bridge photo for a while. The landscape at this end of the bridge is now completely dressed out and the lower tracks are ballasted and painted. Moving on to benchwork construction at the other end of the bridge so the trains crossing it have somewhere to go.

Shooting RR photos with my i-phone has turned out to be great fun. It can go where my digital SLR never could and it gets great-looking shots with no fuss.
