This is an old Athearn SW unit that was remotored with a NWSL can motor and detailed from a photo taken of an actual locomotive. Many details were added such as pilot details, Milwaukee Road spark arrestors, all weather cab window and wagon wheel antenna as well as the cast in front grill replaced with a mesh grill and louvers. After 25 years it still runs like a Swiss watch. .
