Once my benchwork was leveled, I checked the track to be sure it was level and that rolling stock stayed where it was spotted. I found that two of the spurs on the east end of the layout were a little high, and cars rolled back to a turnout. So I removed the track and sanded down the surface, then replaced the track and tested again. I kept doing this until cars stayed where they were put.
