Picketwire mine on the CP&N sits up against the wall. The chute coming out the back was painted on the wall. Sorry, as this isn't a high quality pic. Dick said he could never learn to paint background like this....he did...a small portion, but, I taught him. The small section behind the coal dumper is his. It was like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, but, I taught him. Took less than 30 minutes, too.
Try to figure out where the hardshell scenery ends and the painting begins.
