This photo represents the old steam train returning to the flats from a trip up past the city and beyond (yet to build a long trestle) What the imagination evokes in many of us is what our minds wish to see beyond the view at hand, although the track disappears behind the cliffside city, there lies the inherent desire to know where the track and trains will go. The whole point to a disappearing track in my opinion is to bring out the imagination in all of us, mostly youngsters who wait to see the end of the train clear a tunnel or siding. Isn't that the whole idea?
