CNR GMD1 switching Columbia Salvage

The photo is taken on my MAINLAND MODULAR RAILWAY SOCIETY module at a recent show in Vancouver, BC.  This locomotive class was only built for Canadian light rail services, with just over 100 built for Canadian National Rail (CNR) and Alberta Northern Railway (ANR).  The locomotive model was built from a long out of production poor quality resin kit with many details added, sitting on an old Athearn GP7 drive.  The CNR Pt. St. Charles caboose (van) is scratch-built (styrene) from drawings in an old MODEL RAILROADER magazine.  The gondola is an old MDC/Roundhouse 40' unit, lettered for the 'Columbia Salvage operation shown.
