My thanks to Don Z. for suggesting ebay in the search for my white whale, those elusive HO, white ACF Pressuraide hoppers with the unmistakeable high/low blue stripes. Since my search began, I have learned that:
1. Atlas is the only company that manufactures them.
2. There were 18 versions produced over three production runs.
3. The first run was in Dec. 2000, the second in Feb. 2002 and the last in Sep. 2005.
I have purchased 11 so far and have 7 to go. The road name/numbers that I'm still looking for are: SOO 101067, ACFX 45112, ACFX(CARGILL) 45555, ACFX(CORN PRODUCTS) 51124, ACFX 51661, ACFX 51942 and PCIX 87004.
If any of my fellow hobbyists can help me find these last seven cars that would be great. Please let me know how I may return the favor.
