More then likely..As I once pointed out there are road names available as a kit or RTR.

That I will need to see..
I think things are beginning to get deep around here.
Enough of the "Support the USA" crap. Start your own thread if you want to involve politics and your sort of posting garbage. Also, I have two words for you - SPELL CHECK!
My seven year old son knows how to spell and use punctuation/capitalization better than you!

No..I been to Cajun country once while on vacation. That's the(in my best Popeye voice) pronoucekanation.
What? All I said was That they where missing the Stirrups. I never said any thing about Politics in that. And I was neevr saying any thing about Politics. Just saying that there should be stuff still made in USA and not all of it in China. That's all.
Ok here's the stuff in the red. Are you thinking about the thread in Trains Mag? Becasue It wasn't me who Started it. I was just re-typing it.
What eevr I did SORRY. What ever I did?

Actually everybody knows the steps is molded on..In order to have the missing steps the tooling would need to be changed costing thousands of dollars not to mention thousands of dollars more in lost sales.
Do you think the folks at Athearn are stupid?
IF the steps is indeed missing then they was more then likely broken off in the hobby shop or more then likely you didn't notice them.
Brakie, Both where missing and it didn't look like they broke off. But what do I know? Maybe they did brake off. I guess I would have to buy the kit and find out.
I didn't want people to think I was saying somthing bad about Athearn. Just pointing it out, that's all.
So the spelling is a little rusty, I dont care.
I may be looking for these kits next week and if I find a few China kits I will look em over and see if the steps are molded on as the old ones are or not.
If the steps are missing because someone forgot to include the tooling for them... well... I have two things to say...
Quality control does not exist.
China could care less about corner steps.
I HOPE that these missing steps was a bon-chance or a one off incident like the plastic wheels and not illustrative of future expectations for shoddy and badly built items.

Also consider: I may have misspelled it on purpose just to show that I'm not perfect either.

Absolutely..Been like that since the car was introduce in the 60's.I forgot about the ACF CH..I haven't bought that kit in years.Still the car has stirrups.
Ok this is getting old, what do you mean you ask? Well I'm sick of people bashing everyone on line, I'm sick of hearing you spelled this word and that word wrong blah blah blah. How many of you are over 18 and cant handle misspelled words? Grow up and leave people alone. Where do all your morals and sense of behavior go? I can't believe your sitting on a model railroad forum scrutinizing someone's spelling, or structure of his or her sentences. For man sakes it's a model railroad forum.
And complaining to someone who noticed steps were missing on the kit they bought wow. How many people didn't grow up to show some respect towards one another?
People like this are the reason so many members leave, and the reason soooooo many people start the hobby and leave. SO next time you feel like you have to correct someone for a misspelled word, wrong punctuation, and sentence structure look at yourself because your not perfect either

Open up a thread and discuss it somewhere else!
I dont want to see this thread destruct into another shouting match over errors or percieved flaws. That pretty much shows what poor quality some of us are.
Maybe Im the one with the problem and I would be the first to put the internet down and back away from it.
Settle down folks!

is it OK or Okay? :P (that was a joke, so keep your flamethrowers to yourselves!)

I am patiently awaiting that locomotive..Maybe some day? When the cows come home perhaps? Chickens goes to roost maybe?
Brakie,
I have been awaiting this locomotive since they announced it. I wanted an MP15 something so I found one of Concors MP15DC's in UP paint for 20.00 this is the older style not the newer version. But still looks and runs nice, Infact been toying with installing DCC in it. But I stil want an Athearn MP15AC in Milwaukee paint.
