With the introduction of Broadway Limited's line of sound equipped locomotives, my spending has gotten much higher than the previous years. However, model railroading is my "main" hobby and after working hard all my life, this is my "reward" to myself! Model railroading is a rewarding past-time and virtually, everyone, who sees my layout, gets a real 'kick' out of it! I'm not sure who enjoys it more, the children and their mothers, or , the "grown-up" children!!

After taking the year off from construction, next year I plan on finishing the track work, wiring & starting the scenery. This will involve spending more than I did this year as I don't plan to back off spending on locomotives or rolling stock.

With manufactureers rising prices it is imposible to spen less for quality items. although you may find deals at train showsor swap meets.

YEPPERS!
This year I was on a budget. In 2004, I'll be free of budgetary restraints and will be spending far more on my favorite hobby. Good thing--it seems that with each passing year their are more and more 'must have' products available to us. The gods are good!
