I'm playing around with an area, different track configurations etc., and I was wondering how the track area would be wired. I'm using dcc.
Below is a photo of the spot showing the mainline and how it is wired. You can see the peco insulfrog turnout coming off the mainline leading to another insulfrog turnout.
My question is, if the track is wired as shown, how would the track at the top where the question mark and arrows are be wired? Would the top track be red or would it be white? The only way into and out of this area is via the one turnout.

Since there is no reversing section involved, at least not in the picture, always keep your wire colors in the same orientation. In this case red at the top, white at the bottom.

JaRRell, an easy rule that kept me oriented while cursing under my benchwork trying to solder a nightmare together (okay, it wasn't that bad) was that for anything not comprising a true reversal onto itself, all tracks that kept their ends close to parallel with the main, had all their wiring done exactly the same as the main. The only issue was figuring out which rails actually needed to be fed...stock rails don't, but the frog rail on the diverging route will if you gap the turnout at its meeting with the siding or joining track. Peco Code 83's are power routing, though, so you should have no problem...except that when you don't line a segment with the points, an engine may go silent due to lack of power. I learned this as I wired my yard and found that engines came alive and died as I move points with the Peco #6's. The solution was to feed the sections if I wanted locos to stay powered and hissing.
I picked a colour, as you have done, and the rule was that black was always outermost and the red was always the inner rails. By that, I mean toward the outer edge of the layout, and toward the middle of the layout. When it came to my reversing loop, it is powered by a PSX-AR from Tony's, so the wiring doesn't matter since that unit corrects polarity as needed.
