Xtrkcad Question
Posted by Repairman87 on Sunday, May 13, 2007 9:22 PM

How does the "Update turnout and structures" Feature work if at all?  I just downloaded the program last night.  Does that mean it is the most current?

Thanks

It was intended to update the product libraries from the internet but there is no support for this feature.  There is a new version out now (1.4) but as far as I know there is no new libraries to download.  If I am wrong about the libraries can some one post a link to them I would like to have some of the newer structures available to place.

I dont know why but I had to show version 1.4 where all the libraries were on my computer even tho I installed it in the same directory as the older version.  If you have no pre made turnouts or track pieces then you will need to locate and direct the program to each library file.

Thanks for the info.

Yes, it has a lot of pieces of track already.

I have fumbled thru it for about 45minutes and am getting the hang of it now.  what a neat program.

Thanks again
