So what scale/era/roads do you model? Just curious.
BTW, maybe you should get a picture of Big Daddy Kane with an engineer's hat Photoshopped on as your avatar pic. :)

I've been away from the forum for a couple of weeks and just now catching up.
So add my picture to the group.
This has been really great getting to put faces with names.

Thta brings up an interesting question about beards and mustaches and MRR's. For me, it is clean shaven look.....why? Because when I was 16 and just starting to shave, my father told me to use an electric shaver. He used a straight raisor and often nicked himself, especially when in a hurry. He said the electric shaver was much better for my skin. So, that it was I used except when in the Army.....and after a few months in Basic Training, and having to use a straight raisor, that was enough for me, back to the electric for life, now 68 and still using electric. Do I like to shave, hell no, hair is leaving where I want it to grow, and growing faster where I don't want it.
As for mustaches, some men look great, some look so funny, and so bad with them, that I can't figure out "why" they have them. And after watching men with mustaches try to eat soup or other rather messy foods in restaurants, I am even more convinced as to why "I" don't want one. So is it "looks" or "laziness" that causes men to have beards and/or mustaches?

Did they become model railraoders because they were bearded? or did being a model railraoder, building a layout with everything on it leave them no time to shave. Anyone looking for a thesis subject here it is. By the way I'm neither bearded nor mustachod but still a model railroader and for more than 50 years at that.

I'd love to post a photo, but I wouldn't want to take responsibility for damage to all your computers!
Briefly, start with Al Capp's shmoo, remove the moustache, add Jimmy Durante's nose, a pair of satellite-dish ears and a used mophead, and you're probably close enough.
Enjoy
