Need some help with a TRIX Bigboy tender truck.
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, April 1, 2007 10:30 AM

Hello,

I have an older Trix Bigboy 4013.  I replaced the sound unit with a Tsunami decoder.  The engine looks, sounds and generally runs very well.  However, one set of the tender wheels is out of gauge.  The second set of wheels, back from the coupler end of the tender needs to be removed and regauged.  I have tried to take the rear tender truck apart by removing the two screw in the bottom of the truck.  The trucks seperates, but not enough to get to the bad wheel set.  Something is still holding the truck frame together near the coupler.  Does anybody have an idea on how to remove this part so I can get to the bad wheel without breaking it?  Once I get the wheel out it should be easy to slip back into gauge and the engine will be running great again.

Thanks,

Marksteam
