Looking for some great pictures
Posted by SpaceMouse on Monday, March 19, 2007 10:52 AM

I'm trying to fill up my work computers screen saver with some great pics. I'm looking for some great prototype and layout shots, ideally 1024x 768, but anything over 800 x 600 will do.

So lets see those SP Daylights, smoking Challengers, Shays on a high wire....

Please don't post a link saying there's lots of pictures at so and so site. Pick your favorite. I may never get to browse with this work load.

Usually when you Google your preferred roadnames, good results usually come up...I got a nice collection of BNSF/ATSF diesels this way...but may be not up to the resolution that you want...usually for high resolution pix, people usually want some money for it...

Since I know you like the oldies, how about this?

Maybe something a bit more artistic is what you're after?

Or just some parts.....

At last, some just plain old good shots......

I used most of these for my screensaver, thats how I know about them.

Chip,

How about using some of your own very good railroad pics. Or is that a bit too narcissistic? Laugh [(-D]

You know, I guess I could email myself from home.

But that is kinda scary becuase I used to have Mongo on my desktop, and I would always start thinking about my layout and not about my work.

I'm going to have to think about it.

I like this photo.   I don't really know why it appeals to me, maybe because of the shiny, clean lines.  It looks like something I would have liked to run.

If you would like a "fuller" version, just let me know.
