So this was AL / Biggie back again!  Unless I missed recent visits it has been a while.  He did some great little photo essays back at the start on some of his projects.  IMO he had and has a lot to offer.  It is a real shame that each time it seems to end like this.

What do you mean "In Limbo"?

I think what TZ means is that the submitted item sits in the "Future articles" filing cabinet for a while before moving it to "Upcoming articles" filing cabinet.  In other words, nothing is done with it for a number of months, until MR figures out if and when they want to run the article in one of their issues.

Yes, and as I understand the legalities of it, once material is submitted to MR, it or any variations of it cannot be used for other projects or submitted to other publications.  This way MR will still have an exclusive on it when and if they publish it.  So that idea or concept is in limbo until they decide one way or another.  There used to be a "requirements for submissions" document posted on this site.  But I haven't been able to find it since the softare conversion.

Sad thing is that if these are indeed photos of your work Ladell, you could really make a positive contribution to the hobby by letting us know some of your techniques.

Try to re-focus on the good that this hobby can give, not the negative.

Very nice indeed. Another modeler over on the Atlas forum built a layout exactly like that. His screen name is Monster Railroad; also known as Parker Legend, Alfred Mayo and a number of other aliases.

Unfortunately he has been kicked off this forum many, many times. He often comes back under various names. Do you know him? Here is his page.

Ladell, as you can tell I'm new to MR and this forum and so don't know you're past accomplishments or failings, if any.  From your website posted below, I'd say you are both blessed and cursed....

You're blessed because you've got a real talent for creating a great layout.

 You're cursed because you come across (at least to me, in this thread only) like a stubborn mule who's had burr stuck under his saddle.

Let your work and pictures speak for themselves, get over the past and move on.  Otherwise it'll eat at you.
