Another Successful Decoder Installation. . .
Posted by brothaslide on Monday, January 1, 2007 12:43 AM

The plug-n-play decoders are easy.

I received as a Christmas gift; a digitrax sound decoder for my KATO AC4400.  It was fairly simple to install.  I also received an MRC Prodigy Express.  I hooked up the Prodigy Express to a piece of flextrack and tried out the new decoder and it worked great.  The sound is great for this decoder and I'm pleased.

Happy New Year!

It does get easier after doing a few....I'm still new to DCC and plugging away at installing decoders in all my Athearn units...just got decoderpro up and running  last week  and 9 locomotives with Decoders in them already...i'm gonna have to talk my wife into getting me a sound locomotive pretty soon..maybe a valentine's day gift?....  Wink [;)]  ..chuck
