The "buzz" at this forum says this is the book you want if you model steel-making and facilities.

It is quite the book.  It's equivalent of Armstrong's book on modeling realistic railroads for the steel mill industry.

There are a number of other books that cover steel and the various processes for making it over the years.  "The Making, Shaping, and Treating of Steel." is one  There are 13->15 different printing versions of this book that are updated to reflect changes in the steel processes used at that time.
