Athearn Chassis/Body swaps

Does anyone know if an Athearn GP7 Body will fit on an Athearn F7A chassis? I have a powered chassis and a friend of mine will give me a GP7 Body for it if it will fit.

I don't think these parts will fit - judging by photos of the Athearn GP7 the fuel tanks are different, which suggests a different frame.

Just purchase a GP7 frame (usually very low $$), and put all of the F7 components on it.

Nigel N&W in HO scale, 1950 - 1955 (..and some a bit newer too) Now in San Jose, California
