Around the Room HO Layout

My thanks to all who replied to my original post.
I have the 20 ft x 20ft around the room layout up and running.
I did use 14 guage solid wire for the buss lines and used 22 guage solid wire for the feeders. All connections were soldered and it really was not the tough job I was expecting. I was able to lay the 13 inch feeder wire between 2 sections of the Lifelike Power Loc track and solder them on the work bench. Then cut out the middle piece of wire that then connected the rails together. I was left with a 6 inch feeder wire attached to the outside of each rail. I ran the 14 guage buss wire on each side of the track, so the feeder wires ended up being less than one inch long. I then soldered the feeders to the buss wires already installed up on the shelf. The 6 inch wide shelf is 18 inches below the ceiling, so it was a little tight in places.
The train runs well and again I thank everyone for their input.
My next step is DCC and run multiable trains on the same track. Again your input is welcome.
