Is there site or away to buy PK 2000's wheels in bulk? I have been paying PK 2000's wheels at the LHS, 3 sets cost $6.95 so I guess that is not to bad. But I need around 60 sets to up grade all the junk I have so that is a little stiff. Hum, $139.00.
Does PK make a back of say around 10 sets like Kadee does for it couplers?
I have had darn good luck with Atlas metal axles and plactic wheels and at $3.00 for 3 sets cannot complain but the PK's dont go out of gauge.

As someone said previously, you can't buy them in bulk. The best price is $5.49/pack at MB Klein which comes out to $0.48 per axle. I have contacted various manufacturers to see if they would sell large quantities (>200 axles) direct. Some would, some wouldn't but no one beats the Proto 2k per axle price. MB Klein is currently having a sail on P2k trucks at $2.99/pair. Great price if you need to replace old Tyco, Bachmann, etc trucks.

Go with Intermountain, their wheels are the best--Just my opinion.
