Checking for new posts

OK -

On the old forum, when you clicked on your username you went to a "public profile" screen that listed your last ten topics and last ten threads to which you posted. Very convenient for checking for new replies to your posts. How do you do that now? This forum's public profiles don't have that info.

Anyone???

Mark, I just edited an old post to test the search function and the new system put that post at the top of the My Forums list.  It looks like when you click on My Forums you should will a list of all your posts and hopefully the topics you are looking for should be on the first page or two.  Please don't take this as gospel.  I am not a computer expert nor do I play one on tv.  This is just an observation from the last two days of using the new forum.

Hope this helps.

Tom

OK, I found it.

It doesn't show that there has been new activity in the thread, though. Oh, well, one step forward, two steps back I guess. Disapprove [V]

In your profile section there is an option to send you an email when someone replies to a topic you created.  It won't work for topics that you post to but did not create.  It almost gets what you're looking for.

I just noticed that at the bottom of this screen (where I am entring the reply) is an option to "email me replies to this post".
