Does anyone know of  a good way to paint Walthers' gold line ATSF 1300 series wood caboose with out getting the window panes painted also? i thought perhaps using some magic mask might help me. I was thinking of using a brush to apply pain on the sides.

I would put masking tape over window area, paint it with an airbrush, remove masking tape, and my LHS sells little detailing brushes in a pack of 5 or so for about a $1.99. They come in three sizes, I would then use these brushes to finish around the windows. Even if you get some paint on the windows, you can use alchol to wash it away before it dries with one of the detail brushes.

Paint pen and a steady hand, I encountered this with myextensive reefer fleet, now I paint the contrasting detail before adding to the model, you wont be that lucky...They can be had at most craft stores and some HS as well.....
