AHM six axle heavy duty flat / coupler boxes {one down one to go}

Hello all,

Having not much to do today in the model train department, I decided on fixing two old AHM flat cars. To fix them was almost short of a miracle, it seems that two diffenent types of plastic don't like to be welded to one another. One being the coupler boxes and the other being the flat car frame.
After sticking my fingers together a number of times, I finally found the right glue in which to use.

Sometimes plastics can be a godsend and others ...well I'll give you a hint {its a four letter word }. But all in all ,not bad looking retro-fit. I ran out of coupler boxes in order to fix the other car, I'll have to wait till next weekend.

The Savannah,GA hobby shop awaits me next weekend. Rats........
