They may have corrected it. It now is now $15.00 Still that is a lot for an item that will cost $3.00 to ship.

Nope. It's not ebay's calculator that's wrong. I just checked the calculator on another auction and it quoted me $7.00 to ship a brass car. This Blue Box would cost me $429.00 to get to Austin, TX.

Not always CurtMc, there are some good deals to be had on Ebay, and there are definetely rip offs.
It is no different from the train shows or swap meets , you need to be careful what you buy.
