When is Kato going to offer Dash 9s in N scale? It's only one of the most prevalent locomotive out there.

They did in 1997, 1998, and 2001. For details, go to www.katousa.com, click on N Models at the top of the page, then click on GE C44-9W in the left column.

Too modern for me, I'd rather they reissued the GP35 in different paint schemes (Rio Grande) or bought out another Rio Grande SD45 (not that they are likely to now that P2K are doing them, though I prefer the Kato version).
I think Kato are more interested in N scale at the moment.

[:D]TOTALLY OVERDUE!
I was dreading having to use another Athearn unit, as the drive trains were awful. The Kato units I have run like silk, but the Athearns all need upgraded worm gears. [:(!]
VIVA the AC4400's!

IF YOU HUNT IN THE INTERNET SOME DEALERS STILL HAVE N GAUGE DASH 9'S FROM THE 1996 KATO PRODUCTION. THEY HAVE RAPIDO COUPLERS, BUT THESE EASILY CHANGED IF NEEDED.
