Wiring question???
Posted by msowsun on Saturday, May 20, 2006 11:00 AM
I have an Ammeter and Voltmeter that I would like to be able to switch from cab 1 to cab 2. I figure I could use 2 double pole double throw switches to accpompli***his. (one on either side of the gauges)

Is there one multi pole switch that could do the same thing?

A four pole double throw rotary type switch would work. Most are rated 3 or 5 amps. Just a note: Since the amp meter is in series with the track a short interrpution will occur when switching the meters.

Very good advice. I was going to suggest a center of DPDT switch. This works just as well.
